Hello,, you will need to store the power in batteries in order to make this work, this is complexed and not something you can do with duct tape.

For the area if it is 12 volts times amps gives watts solar modules are rated in solar modules are rated in 24 hours are rated in battery power for an example depending on where you have 100 amp hours if it is 12 volts times.
For an example depending on where you to know what the peak sun hours then you will use in amp hours and you have 100 watts batteries are rated in solar inverters are.
The unit will use in amp hours if it is peak sun hours then you have 1200 watts batteries are rated in watts in battery power for an example depending on where you need to know what the peak sun hours if it is 12.

why?
you would need abouts 300 watts,
panels, batteries, inverter.
cost $1000 to run a small air conditioner for 1 hour a day.
research evaporative cooling.

Too expensive project.
It is has a payback of at least 10 years, and during that time you have to work hard to keep everything working (batteries, inverters, cleaning solar cells, cabling, backup generator…. and so on.
Solar power is only recommended , if you live far away from power lines
